Series #93: Bridgerton S2 Thoughts

Hey There!
Let’s talk about some romance, shall we? So when Bridgerton was released I sat down to watch the first season, but wasn’t nearly as overcome as everyone else. I didn’t even finish it. But when I saw the love interests for season 2, I knew I had to watch it. Indian women? Feminist Solo women showing men up in a Period piece? Absolutely a MUST WATCH. It did not disappoint either!
I think my favorite thing about this season was the absolutely unhinged manner in which Anthony was unable to contain his affection for Kate. That sniff as she walked by? Unearthly eeks were indeed had. Still reeling honestly.

I’m searching for book recommendations similar to this season because I need more. I’m so thankful to blogs like bookriot and Paste for giving me different options! I’m reading My Dear Henry by Kalynn Bayron and Caution Tape by Molly Doyle, but I look forward to their recommendations.
I just loved how strong-willed and feminist Kate was. In season one, Eloise was my favorite character because she asked the questions that mattered, and I thoroughly enjoyed her banter and the conversations she shared with Kate. How Kate did not back down from verbal battles with Anthony every episode, and this particular enemy to lovers was GIVING!
I’m unsure if I will partake in Season 3, but Season 2 was penultimate for me.
Did you watch Bridgerton? Will you continue the series? Let me know what you think!
Until Next Time,
