Novels #94: November Vlog 1

Howdy,

I’m getting back into the swing of blogging now that I’ve overhauled the entire website. Today, I’m going to talk about my latest YouTube video, which covers the first two weeks of November. 2024 is moving at breakneck speed, and every time I look up I’m flabbergasted at the date.

During this vlog, the book girlies and I attend a local book event, called Books by the Banks. Joseph Beth Bookstore takes over our main library and brings with them about 100 authors from the state and some further, to hawk their books, and allow you to communicate with some of your favorite authors. That’s just what we did. I wound up buying three brand-new novels, got them all signed, and got photos with the authors.

It’s always so much fun to hang out with the book girlies and do book-related things, so I didn’t even groan too much when I realized how early I would have to wake up in order to meet them there.

I met three authors of books that I was interested in and just got to check out all of the updates that new main library had to offer. Then Bri, Sheneal and I went to the Friends Thrift Shop, one of my favorite places to shop for books. It’s literally stuffed full of books that the library has gotten rid of, and the most expensive thing I’ve gotten there was 7$! You just can’t go wrong.
