Novels #78: Bunnicula Re-Read

Well Hello There!

Welcome to October! This month is special for three reasons! Reason one; It’s Halloween! Reason two, My book buying ban for September is officially over. The third and final reason, is I’ve decided to do a Re-read of the Bunnicula Book Series by James Howe!

Bunnicula was a favorite series of mine as a child, but as an adult it still finds ways to permeate my life. I recently got a tattoo of this beloved character along with my favorite quote: “Today Vegetables, Tomorrow the World!” I recently realized that there are two books in the series I had not read yet, so not only do I get to re-enjoy books that I know I love but I get to experience two new adventures with my favorite characters!

Bunnicula has 7 novels. A Rabbit Tale of Mystery published in 1979. Howliday Inn Published in 1982. Celery Stalks at Midnight published in 1983. Nighty-Nightmare published in 1997. Return to Howliday Inn published in 2000. Bunnicula Strikes again published in 2001. Bunnicula meets Edgar Allen Crow published in 2006. In 2006 I was a high school Sophmore. So it isn’t really a surprise that I missed the last two novels.

My goal is to complete all 7 novels in the month of October, creating reviews, reading sprints and read with mes, throughout the month all published on Fridays! I’m so excited to share my favorite book series with you, and would love for you to join me!
