Disneybounding at Disney World
Hey Gang!
I’m so so excited to be writing about this! I haven’t had a vacation in quite a while, and Boy Wonder and I are going to Disney World for the 50th anniversary! Perfect time for adorable spooky times, and since adults can’t wear costumes, I’ve decided that I’m going to disneybound while I’m there.
If you’re not in the know, Disneybounding, is creating a closet cosplay or an outfit based on a Disney character, but not a costume. Adults are not allowed to wear costumes within the park so Disneybounding is the next best option.
I follow a lot of Disneybounders on Instagram and have always wanted to try it but never got around to it. A lot of those instagram accounts are in LA, but we’ll be going to Orlando Florida, and I haven’t been since I was a child so I am very excited to see what’s new.
It was hard deciding on what characters to choose and whether my hair color would detract from the outfits. For Halloween I plan on being Kida from Atlantis, but I decided that I wasn’t going to let having all white hair stop me from creating some super cute outfits!

I’ve chosen three characters to be for the week: Roger Rabbit, Esmeralda, and Basil of Baker Street, from my all time favorite Disney movie, the Great Mouse Detective. I did think about doing the entire Sherlock Holmes get up, but didn’t want to be too hot, so I am going for his regular outfit. The White top, Green tie and brown pants!

I’ve already started planning a good portion of my trip and already have a list of all the places I want to go! I haven’t been to Disney World since I was a little girl and I’m so excited to enjoy it as an adult with my own money and my own ability to purchase my own souvenirs. I’m already eyeing one of those pairs of Minnie ears!
What are some of your favorite places to see in Disney World? Have you Disneybounded before? Who are your favorite characters to dress up as?
Until Next Time,
Moriartie
