Series #77:The Falcon and Winter Soldier #1
Hey Gang!
It’s been a while since we’ve chatted about a television show! Never fear! While I haven’t been talking about television lately, I have been consuming! Today we’re going to talk about what I enjoyed about the premier of Falcon and Winter Soldier on Disney+.

I’ve been looking forward to this show since it was mentioned that it would be coming out and would follow Sam and Bucky after the events of Endgame. I personally LOVED Endgame, and was excited to see the next steps. I did not watch Wandavision, so please forgive me if I’ve missed something from that show that will pop up in this one, and will solve any questions that I might have, it is on my list.
My favorite things about this episode can be summed up with the actual dive into the backstory of the characters. I loved learning about Sam’s relationship with his sister and how they’re struggling and working on trying to save the business. I never really thought about what would happen when the people who disappeared in the blip would come back, however I’m very interested in the fact that they arent’ mincing words when showing exactly how people of color, and veterans are treated in the United States.

They were all gung ho when they were “saving the country” but now that they need help, they are no where to be found, and while I generally enjoy a deep dive off the cliff of Reality, it was nice to actually see some truth, that people don’t often share.
I hope that Sam fully embraces the role of Captain America, because its important, and I understand how he could feel like it might not be the role for him, but its definitely a better fit for him, than the fool they shoved into that suit, so I need him to get his self doubt and imposter syndrome together, and make Steve proud.

I am very excited to see what’s coming up next, I want to know how many people are left on Bucky’s list, and what he’ll do when he’s done. Will that finally bring him out of his shell and will it allow him to heal and be able to move forward with his life? What will be the next moves for him?
Also, I’m excited to see how Sam and Bucky are going to handle this imposter in Cap’s Clothing. I’m hoping its going to follow the same vein of trying to sign the superhero act, and basically fighting the government, because I love that. I am hoping that there will be some romantic attachments for both Bucky and Sam, because those boys could use some unconditional love.

What are you looking forward too in the next episode?
Until Next TIme,
